What is more valuable: knowing that something which is true is true OR knowing that something which is not true is not true? What is worse: not knowing that something which is true is true OR not knowing that something which is not true is not true?

Definitely knowing that something is true is more valuable.
Even if it is something that hurts you, not knowing that it is true or not true is worse.
In my experience the knowing that something is not true was the flip side!
Hi anonnymous, can you tell a bit about how you found this out?
I believe that knowing is a kind of freedom, a value, wheter is knowing that something is true or be consciuos of something that is not true.
thx Bahia
Knowing someone well I knew there was a tension between us but unwilling to talk/open up.
Eventually face to face conversation, part 1 then part 2 then part 3 revealed.
It confirmed fears/feelings and was hurtful.
But tension gone, fear diminishing and communication lines now open again.
Hopefulness growing. Love casts out fear.
Came across this interesting quote by Charles Darwin:
"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge"
