Very interesting presentation on TED by Sebastian Seung.
Connectomes: (diagrams showing) the total of all of the connections between your brain's neurons. Each of our connectomes is completely unique and mutable. Thoughts and actions interact with a connectome like water and a river do. The connectome shapes the flow of information through our brain but the flow of information also gradually shapes the connectome. Everything we do shapes the development of the connectome. Even the mere act of thinking changes our connectome.
