Improve the solution-focused entry on wikipedia

I am calling out to solution-focused practitioners to improve the Wikipedia entry on solution-focused. Here is the reason I ask. There is now an entry on solution-focused brief therapy. I think there are three problems with this: 1) Wikipedia itself asks for this entry to be improved because it lacks precise citations, 2) the content now seems unbalanced (some things/people I think are overrepresented in this entry, 3) there is way too little mention of all the applications of the solution-focused approach outside therapy and counseling.

Let me explain why I ask this of you, reader, instead of doing this myself. That is because I think the potential of Wikipedia will be fully realized only when lots of knowledgeable people will contribute. So, will you help make a Wikipedia entry on the solution-focused approach which is more precise, more balanced, and more complete?

Sometimes, you are the ONLY one that can and will contribute.

Hi Coert, I'm currently bringing together a number of sf practitioners to discuss a possible development of a solution focused approaches wiki to look at sf practice in other contexts.

I'm hosting an openspace in the uk and virtually which will hopefully develop the wiki page during the meeting.

This wikipage maybe different from the SFBT one or the openspace meeting may actually focus on the SFBT one, the agenda will not be set beforehand.

Would you be interested in joining the small team currently gathering?

I will be focusing on dates and venues (and virtual space) when we have at least 5 people ready.

Hi Carl, I am glad with your initiative (maybe you've seen my call for a more balanced and complete wiki page on sf recently). Could I play a role on the sideline though? I've got a lot on my list and I am reluctant to take on much more

Coert, a sideline role would be fantastic if you could spare a few moments. It maybe just casting a glance over the wiki page during the development.

I'll post a few more details later.

Thanks..

Carl

Hi Carl, I'd be glad to do that. By the way, I'd be curious about your ideas about this question: http://solutionfocusedchange.blogspot.com/2009/04/why-are-professionals-attracted-to.html
